All data is encrypted at rest utilizing AWS Key Management Service (KMS). KMS keys are symmetric keys adhering to the latest industry standard cryptographic protocols. Keys are automatically rotated on a set interval.
Customer data is also encrypted in transit. ErgoPlus infrastructure is hosted with Amazon Web Services and is deployed within a Virtual Private Cloud. All communication between database and servers occurs within the VPC and is encrypted. All external communication is over HTTPS with SSL/TLS certificates issued by AWS using TLS 1.2.
